2009/2010 school year
On 19/03/2010, in PGM "Vasil Levski" - Gorna Oryahovitsa held national contest "Best in mechanical engineering technician. Our school PGMET "Gen.Ivan Bachvarov" is included with two participants. Compete profesionalni 29 schools across the country - 78 students. Organisers of the event are the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science, Technical University - Gabrovo and the "Milen Grigorov - Gorna Oryahovitsa. The main objective of the competition is to stimulate the development of scientific and technological thought and promote professional machine. The competition included a test containing 40 questions and applied-creative task in Technical Drawing. Fifth and evaluation received 6.00 student of twelve class Spas Spasov from Christopher profession Mechanical technician. Our second participant Atanas Boyanov Velchev class of 12 received the same profession Excellent assessment 5.80. These results are recognized assessment test in general technical preparation for application in all engineering majors at the Technical University - Gabrovo. Both participants are trained in the National Agenda for concern for every student "under the direction of eng.Nadejda Malcheva eng.Darina Hristova and the same school.
Academic year 2008/2009
Martin Ivov Nikolov - Class 9c provide decent schools in our national competition, "Challenge to young entrepreneurs, organized by Junior Achievement and the British Council. 360 students worked on the case only 100 of them are ranked nationally.
Kiril Ivanov Trifonov and Delian Nedyalkov - 12d class qualified for the national round of the competition's Best technician in mechanical engineering, which took place on 15.03.2009 in the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa.
purpose of the competition
- Stimulate the development of scientific and technological thought and promoting machine occupations;
- Linking extracurricular activities with businesses in the region and the area the opportunity to advertise and prestige employers through sponsorship and participation in such extracurricular activities;
- Dilyan Dimitrov Nedyalkov 12 d class - an excellent 6.00 Kiril Ivanov Trifonov
- 12 d class - an excellent 5.80.
This result provides them entry without an entrance exam at the Technical University - Gabrovo.
2007/2008 school year
Borislav Miroslavov Minkov - 12 years in the Class third round of the National Competition "Best in the master Mechanical - turned "in February, organized by the Ministry of Education, held in Kazanlak.

For the first time team badminton / adolescents / gained the right to participate in the finals and took sixth place in national round of the "Student Games 2008, a team Badminton / girls / took ninth place.
